1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Real Craft Tech Pvt. Ltd.(“Real Craft Tech”, “Crove”, “we”, “us”, “our”), and govern your access to and use of the Crove website and the Crove document-automation and electronic-signature application (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- “Account” — the registered account through which you access the Service.
- “Template” — a reusable document you build in Crove, with fields that can be filled to generate documents.
- “Document” — a document generated from a Template or otherwise created or uploaded through the Service.
- “Customer Content” — the Templates, Documents, form fields, responses, files and data you create, upload or collect through the Service.
- “Recipient” / “Signer” — a person you invite, including through a shareable public link, to fill or electronically sign a Document. A Signer need not have an Account.
- “Electronic Signature” — an electronic signature applied to a Document through the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Account registration and security
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account.
- You must notify us promptly at hello@crove.app of any unauthorised use of your Account or any other security breach.
5. Description of the Services
Crove lets you:
- create reusable document Templates;
- collect inputs through forms and generate Documents and PDFs from them;
- send Documents to Recipients and Signers, including via shareable public links; and
- obtain Electronic Signatures with an accompanying signing audit trail.
We may add, change, improve or discontinue features of the Service from time to time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- create, send or solicit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading documents or signatures;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your authority to sign or to request a signature;
- upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems; or
- send unsolicited bulk communications in violation of applicable law.
7. Electronic signatures — validity and responsibilities
The Service provides electronic-signature functionality and records a signing audit trail (including signing events and timestamps) intended to support the integrity of signed Documents.
India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 recognises electronic signatures, including electronic authentication techniques specified in the Act and its Schedules (for example, Section 3A and the Second Schedule). However, certain documents are excluded from electronic execution under the First Schedule to the Act (such as negotiable instruments other than cheques, powers of attorney, trusts, wills and certain property conveyances).
You are solely responsible for determining whether an Electronic Signature is legally appropriate and enforceable for your particular Document, parties and jurisdiction. Crove provides signing tooling only; we are not a party to the agreements you create or sign, do not provide legal advice, and make no representation that a given Document or signature is valid or enforceable. Each Signer is responsible for the legality of their own signature and the accuracy of the information they provide.
8. Customer Content — ownership and licence
As between you and us, you retain all rights in your Customer Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, display and create technical copies of your Customer Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and your Recipients, and to comply with law.
You represent that you have all rights and, where required, the consent or lawful basis needed to collect, upload and process the Customer Content, including any personal data it contains. You are responsible for your Customer Content and for how you use the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding Customer Content), is owned by Real Craft Tech or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.
10. Fees, billing and taxes
- Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle (monthly or annual) and at the price shown at checkout and on our pricing page. Fees are charged in US Dollars (USD).
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; by subscribing you authorise the applicable recurring charge until you cancel.
- Fees are exclusive of any taxes, levies or duties that may apply in your jurisdiction, for which you are responsible.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example for hosting, email delivery, payments and optional integrations). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. The sub-processors that handle personal data are listed in our Privacy Policy.
12. Confidentiality of documents
We treat the contents of your Documents as confidential and access them only as needed to operate the Service, provide support you request, or comply with law. Documents sent for signature are accessible to the parties you designate and, for completed Documents, to the Account that created them, together with the associated audit trail.
13. Disclaimers and warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any Document or Electronic Signature will be legally valid or enforceable. Crove is a document-automation tool and does not provide legal advice.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Real Craft Tech and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Real Craft Tech and its officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Customer Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Suspension, termination and data export
You may stop using the Service and close your Account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service, subject to applicable law.
You may export your Customer Content using the Service’s export features. After termination we may delete your Customer Content in accordance with the retention practices in our Privacy Policy; please export anything you need before closing your Account.
17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable rights, the courts at Chandigarh, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction. Before commencing proceedings, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through discussion.

19. Communications and notices
By creating an Account you agree to receive service-related communications from us (such as transactional, security and billing notices) at the email associated with your Account. We may provide notices through the Service or by email; you are responsible for keeping your contact details current.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will revise the “Effective” date and version above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
21. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
